Hey there! 👋🏼

I'm Annalena (short: Lene), German, and have been in the UK since 2020. (Yep, it was a country-move during the height of Covid! Fun times!)

I started at Spacemade in April 2025 as Community Associate at Hale House after I moved to London from South Wales. In November 2025 I transferred to The Gatehouse - closer to home, back to South London ❤️ where I was promoted to Community Manager in May 2026. 🥳 

People are my passion. Human beings with all their diverse needs, skills and interests are at the heart of everything I've been doing for the last decade: From Interior Decorator over Au Pair to Mindfulness Retreat Facilitator, Meditation Teacher and Front of House in Hospitality. Now I get to pour all my love for connections into our wonderful members at The Gatehouse. 💕

If I'm not planning my wedding that's coming up in August 2026 😍, I'm spending time with my friends, usually on the hunt for the best decaf almond latte in town ☕️ I'll choose a cafe over a pub or bar any day and live for bread and pastries. 🥐

Because of my fiance and his family I had no choice but become a football fan 🦅 and balance this with all things wellbeing - recently I have started working with a PT (RIP my legs every Thursday!)
