Community Manager (not Digital/Marketing) - Marylebone HealthTech Workspace
Community Manager - Coworking Office Spaces
£37,750-£39,250 - Dependant on experience
Hale House, Marylebone, London W1B 1NT
Full Time - Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (8.30am-5.30pm OR 9am-6pm - subject to change)
Be the heartbeat of our flagship healthtech workspace - and the engine behind its day-to-day excellence.
At Spacemade, we believe workspaces should feel like home - just with better coffee, smoother operations, and a stronger sense of belonging. As Community Manager at Hale House, you’ll take full ownership of the day-to-day running of a premium HealthTech coworking building, ensuring it operates beautifully and feels exceptional for every member, every day.
Hale House is home to a mix of established HealthTech businesses, investors, incubators and exciting start-ups. You don’t need to be a HealthTech expert — but you do need to be confident running a complex building, leading a small but mighty onsite team, and delivering a hospitality-led experience where details matter.
This is not a front-desk role. It’s a hands-on, people-facing, operational leadership role - perfect for someone who thrives when they own their space, their standards, and their community.
What you’ll be doing
Community & Member Engagement
Be the visible, trusted lead onsite - setting the tone, welcoming members, and ensuring the building feels calm, professional and friendly.
Build strong day-to-day relationships with members, understanding their needs and resolving issues quickly and confidently.
Support member onboarding and move-ins, ensuring a smooth, well-organised experience from day one.
Create moments of connection through light-touch programming and community activity that fits the building and its members.
Operations, Facilities & Standards
Take full ownership of the operational running of the building, maintaining high standards across all shared spaces, offices and amenities.
Conduct regular building walk-throughs, proactively spotting issues and coordinating fixes with facilities, suppliers and internal teams.
Manage incidents, maintenance issues and member queries professionally and calmly, keeping members informed throughout.
Ensure health & safety, compliance and operational processes are followed consistently.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Line-manage and support Community Associates onsite, setting clear expectations and creating a positive, high-performing team culture.
Work closely with central Operations, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure a joined-up member experience.
Support workspace tours when required and collaborate with Sales to ensure prospects experience the building at its best.
Sales & Growth
Assist with workspace tours and enquiries, confidently showcasing the Spacemade experience.
Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, supporting smooth handovers and follow-ups.
Share insights from the floor to help improve occupancy, retention and member satisfaction.
What makes you a great fit?
Operationally confident: You’ve run a building, venue or premium customer-facing space and are comfortable owning standards, suppliers and processes.
Industry experience: Background in coworking, flexible offices, hospitality, serviced offices or similar environments. HealthTech experience is highly desired but not essential.
People-first leader: You’re warm, calm and professional — someone members and teammates trust.
Organised & proactive: You spot issues early, prioritise well, and keep things moving without drama.
Comfortable with context: Experience working around health, wellbeing or professional services businesses is a bonus, but not essential.
